The summit from the top of...
The summit from the top of the "climber's right" variation. The direct route to the summit starts from the left side of the photo and goes up to where the arrow is. Some class 2 gets you down to where this photo is taken and a less steep descent can begin. Even at this level, the snow on top was very firm (icy) and the winds were about a constant 50 mph when I was getting ready for my descent. I'll wait for a better day for starting from the very top :-) June 9, 2002.
