I keep coming back to this foto. It's quite fantastic. I'm a Lone Peak summer hiker, but now it looks like I'll have to go up in the winter.

We felt pretty lucky because about an hour before this shot was taken we were in near whiteout conditions. Then just as we entered the cirque we broke out of the clouds and had nothing but blue skies all the way to the summit.



The cirque is an awesome place in the winter - you should definitely check it out some time!
