Thanks very much for your comment, Tomi. It's easier to get good photos in the midst of such magnificent mountains.

Nelson, this is a very powerful shot. I keep looking at it over and over again, and get totally psyched and desperate that I am still at my computer and not in the mountains. This is another fine example of your excellent photography skills!

Thanks very much Misha. Your comments are always especially appreciated. There was a slight bulge in the route and it allowed me to climb up maybe 100 feet slightly offroute so I could get more of Kangchenjunga in the background. Then I waited until the two Sherpas were in a nice position. The angle of the sun was an added bonus. Thanks again.

By the way, your two recent Sierra Wave shots are fantastic!

Thanks for the comment Kenzo. I've been wanting to upload an improved scan of this image for a long time - larger size and better color balance - and I finally got around to it. Take care, Nelson

Yes, lots of fun, and easy. Not the same as on the giants that surrounded us! Thanks for your comment.
