The summit ridge of Dome Peak in 1975. Note the boulder on the summit that was gone by 1986. Also compare with this photo from 1993 where a big chunk of rock is gone from the summit structure.

Makes me very sad to realize that by not climbing Dome in 74, missed this scene. Great pic. We were stormed off.

...at the same time, sad. It is a world subjected to the second law of thermodynamics----all systems progress from a state of order to disorder, from an intact state to disarray and chaos. (Unless energy is injected into the system) A shame our mountains suffer in this way. Thanks for sharing this excellent foto. 10/10
