The summitcross of the Hohes...
The summitcross of the Hohes Rad. As you see, it was rather cold when I climbed it, although it was in the middle of July

Voted 5/10

Hohes Rad is the highest summit I have scaled so I hold it with affection, even though I nearly left a pair of binoculars behind on the summit cross. We climbed up from Bilerohe, then up the east facing flank. Quite exhilerating.

I half special feeling about this climb too. It was cold as you can see on the photo, but according to my parents who where waiting in the Wiesbadnerhutte, my face was blue when I entered the hutte. I hadn't felt a thing.
