Re: ClassicThank you very much Byron. I wish that I had paid closer attention to my focus. Oh well, I have some better ones which I'll post later.
Have a nice day,
Marc

Re: !I sure would like to visit the area again in winter. I think these mountains will be even more magnificent with some snow on them.
Thank you Senad,

Geez, Marc ...At least you're honest ...
It DOES look like a painting, whether it be
in focus or not.
Actually, paintings don't have to be in perfect focus. Just look at Van Gogh or
Francis Bacon ... not the kind you eat
with eggs!

Re: Geez, Marc ...Humorous, as always! No forum post about this please. Okay, let's call it a painting. Bacon and eggs, my favorite.
Thank you Larry.

Couldn't help myself Marc...I'm reminded of some of the great Impressionist paintings, Monets - for example (my favorite!)... when you look closely, there are just seemingly random blobs of color. But when viewed from a distance, an amazing and accurate image becomes apparent.
Never mind the lack of focus Marc, this is one of the best shots posted to SP in some time! The colors, composition, and softness all meld together into an intangible excellence and beauty.
SO GLAD you took this shot JUST SO... not sure it would have the same effect if it was sterilely, perfectly in focus!
Thanks for sharing, and forgive those of us who HAD to give it a ten! One thing I've learned as a musician: We are all our own worst critics. Accept the praise, and ignore that voice in your head that's complaining that the shot's not "perfect".
Ya done AWESOME, Dude!
Peace,
Big Lew
