The Three Golden Chiefs

The Three Golden Chiefs

You've probably heard of Capitol Butte and Coffeepot Rock outside west Sedona (AZ), north of Highway 89A, but ... The Three Golden Chiefs ??? I met these guys while HIKING the Teacup Trail. Don't you think they're buff, with a very awesome suntan? The Teacup Trail begins at a kiosk on Buena Vista Drive, and heads north pass the Sugarloaf Trail. If you continue on Teacup toward a spur trail leading up a draw to the NW, you can follow a "pronounced gully" to the summit ridge of Capitol Butte. Confused? I thought you were. Please ... just keep looking at "The Three Golden Chiefs." (They're located approximately 1/2-mile east of 6,355' Capitol Butte). August 27, 2009

They are impressive!

They could possibly be called the Golden Capitol Brutes!

Re: They are ....

Interesting,

If they were in CA, they'd pass for the
"Golden State Brutes."

Re: They are ....

Yeah, I just hope the "Brutes" drink a better brand beer than 'Keystone Light,' which my neighbors probably just guzzled down.

For crying out loud ...
