The timber-heavy summit of...
The timber-heavy summit of Shelton Pisgah. This is a recovering forest that is pleasant to walk in, but absent of all but a few large trees, which are mainly hemlock and apparently infested with the Hemlock wooly adelgid. I shot this at the very top of the mountain.
