The Tournette spur is coming...
The Tournette spur is coming down from the upper left corner of the picture. This gives an impression on the steepness of this route. The rocks in the front do not have a name but there altitude is given on the IGN map, p3705 and p3731m. The white sky line is the section between Mont Blanc summit and the Mont Blanc de Courmayeur. Picture taken on the Col des Aiguille Grises. August 2004 www.mountainpassion.net

"This is blood for blood and by the gallon. These are the old days, the bad days, the all-or-nothing days. They're back! There's no choice left. And I'm ready for war."   --Marv, Sin City
