The view east into the Stillwater Fork from the Hayden-Agassiz saddle. The west spur ridge tops out at this saddle, on the South Ridge route. Left to Right: Hayden Peak, Peak 12,284, Ostler Peak, Spread Eagle Peak, and Mt. Agassiz. Oct. 8, 2005. Comments[ Post a Comment ] | fastpony | Middle Basin | |
Hasn't voted | Nice shot of Middle Basin so late in the year. I have not seen anyone elses photos of this area, only mine. To those who have seen this exact view, there is no established trail, just a lot of steep climbs and boulder hopping. The work out has its rewards!

Hasn't voted | Thanks for the kind words. This basin is one of my favorites. It's not hard to get to, but you feel so isolated when you are there. Perfect. I also put a summertime photo of this area on the East Hayden Peak mountain page. You should check it out, it's gorgeous. | | Posted Jan 23, 2007 6:00 pm |
