The view from the throne

The view from the throne

Half way up from Mincigos to Fercella Cuel Tarond there is a throne, made by Italian soldiers during the World War I. You can't resist to take a seat, and have a short rest, admiring one of the most beautiful scenes in Julian Alps - the view on Montaž. September 25th, 2011.

Re: Che meraviglia!

You're welcome, Roberto! From this point Montaž is seen only in this section, higher, it's from everywhere.
Ciao!

Re: Perfect spot!

Thanks, Vid!

Think I finally caught on to WHY somebody
would build a throne in this particular location.

The woman seems to be "drinking in" the view,
and she's making me very thirsty, for sure !!
