The view of the east summit...
The view of the east summit (Pt. 8286) from the true summit. The east summit is quite a bit lower. Beckey estimates 8,300 ft for the true summit. I was thinking more like 8,310 ft, which would put Spider at #98 on the Top 100 list by prominence. August 13, 2005.
