The View South from Fenn Mountain

This view south from the summit of Fenn Mountain looks across the cirque of the lower or easternmost South Three Links Lake and some neighboring ponds. The high point just behind the cirque is unnamed ridge point (7,515). Legend Lake is off the left side of this point. The green ridge beyond it is Big Fog Mountain. Big Fog trailhead is down the ridge to the right and just off the photo. This ridge with a descent down the snowy slope above and to the right of the lake is probably the best way to get to Fenn Mountain. The large canyon beyond is the Selway River. August 2008
