The view to the...
The view to the east-northeast from the summit of Griffith Peak. In the immediate foreground is Griffith's summit; beyond that (center) is Harris Mountain. In the distance, just beyond the cloud's shadow is Gass Peak. On the left, in the distance is the Sheep Range, with high point, Hayford Peak, and closer on the left is Angel Peak. The base of Fletcher Peak is on the left; its summit is off the photo. On the right is La Madre Mountain. Beyond La Madre is Frenchman Mountain, but it's over 36 miles away and hardly visible in this shrunken photo. Photo taken 02 October 2005.
