There is supposed to be an exposed ledge here providing access to the Main Peak. Uh, no! A short traverse on a 70-degree snowslope did not sound inviting to us, so we gave up on the Main Peak an instead opted for the East Peak. The only view we missed was the view due west (not much to see that way anyway). April 26, 2004.
