This is looking down the gully between Audubon and Paiute. This picture was taken a little over halfway down the gully. Upper Blue Lake is pictured below.

I just went down this last Saturday, August 13, 2011. It had six feet of snow left in it that had shrunk away from the walls. The snow wasn't visible from the top. The snow was actually in the section shown by this photograph. This made it difficult to descend without snow gear and with my dog. I don't believe this is the Crooked Couloir talked about in one of the comments. I'd like to call it Dannen's Couloir, since his guide book sent me down it. Pretty dangerous with the snow and all the loose rock. Defintely not for the faint of heart.
