This is the high point to the east of Van Patten Lake from the lower northeast ridge of Van Patten Butte. The lake sits in the low point between. This point would be a good scramble from the lake and the south aspect has some of the largest and most rugged rocks in the Elkhorns. August 2005.

I can attest that climbing the peak on the east side of Van Patten Lake is no fun. I gave up before reaching the top of the peak but got some nice shots of the lake.
