This photo may seem repetitive, but I wanted to show the entire slope that contains the Iron Gates. You can see some smaller "gates" to the east (left), but the route takes you up the larger gully in the center of the picture.

Iv'e had plenty of those hikes/climbs. Good to see you around Smudge.

yeah...that's exactly what it was like. Picking the best path to the next large boulder. It was a little annoying, but all in all a fun route. We still need to get out sometime Kane!
