This photo of Popo was taken at sunset from about 15,600 ft on Iztaccihuatl. I was lounging around in the hut when I heard a loud rumbling sound. I grabbed my camera and sprinted a couple hundred yards to a nearby high-point to get this shot (sprinting at 15.6K ft is not recommended ;-) (12/1998).

It was just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. The photo was taken with a Yashica T4 Super. That's just an inexpensive point-and-shoot camera.
