This photo offers good overview of the climb up the Mid Pal once you gain the ridge above Finger Lake. Follow the slope above the exposed rocks. It will bring you to the morraine noted in many trip reports. Make a curve toward the left of the brownish rock that marks the entrance of the main chute.
