This photo shows Horsetail...

This photo shows Horsetail Falls from the Powerhouse at the end of the road on the June Lake Loop as of 1-21-06. There is water rushing down the middle of the falls, but the ice is pretty good on the left side of the falls. There is also ice or ice/rock routes on the right side but the ice is a bit on the thin side. Note: if you are thinking of climbing at Horsetail and aren't sure about the conditions, you can see this from the road -- use binoculars to check out the conditions.
