This photo taken from the summit of The Lakes Lookout shows Anthony and Lilypad lakes at the upper center and the Hoffer Lakes near the center. The pond in the lower right corner is a key point on many routes of this mountain group. Gunsight Mountain is on the right margin. August 2005

Hasn't voted	Great photo! I don't know what you mean by saying the pond at lower right "is a key point on many routes of this mountain group." It is what I call a shallow and very tiny frog pond to which no trails lead. It is accessed by climbing straight south up the slope above Upper Hoffer Lake. From below you would not know that it even exists.

	Hasn't voted	I simply meant that from that small pond there are several routes to climb up the adjacent summits.
