bob, this is great stuff. i've been looking for this exact info on this route with photos of the class 3/4 sections. i've read everything from "we rappelled down from the notch" to "its pretty easy class 3 but with some exposure". your photos are great and put these comments in perspective.

This is the first time I've been able to see that part of the North Couloir route in daylight. I can't believe that I downclimbed that in the dark!
