This was taken in The...
This was taken in The Narrows, Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, Oklahoma on December 4, 2000. My wife Zdravka, shown in the picture, wanted me to take her to where I had learned to climb. The temperature hung in the mid 30s most of the day which made for great climbing weather. During the summer it hits 110 degrees here and the mosquitos will carry off your carabiners.
