| TyC | 20% chance of rain ![]() Date Climbed: Oct 13, 2011 | |
| Weather was overcast all day with a 20% chance of rain by the weather stations, but at 2 pm it started raining. Anyways the bridge is still out at the creek and you have to ford it. Depth today was around 2 feet and was around 30 degrees. Along the trail only one tree was down. It was easy to get around and caused no problems. | ||

| Bob Bolton | West-side trail ![]() | |
| I have no idea when this was, but I believe it was this decade. I was just out driving around with my 4Runner, and wanted to get some exercise, so saw the trail here and decided to go for it. Nice hike and great views. | ||

| Hi Bob, Yup, that is where the TCR trail crosses a road - good find - it's not exactly easy to spot - I'd been by there before myself and never spotted it. dn | ||

| Brian Jenkins | Nice quick one ![]() Date Climbed: Jun 3, 2007 | |
| With Annie from the PCT. Quick and easy one to a neat pile of rocks. Too bad they put concrete down in spots to make it easy or it could have been a fun scramble. Could see 5 major Cascade peaks. Afterwards, we had burgers, nachos and beer at Skamania Lodge and Baskin Robbins closer to home. Now THAT'S a good Sunday morning. | ||

| mountain medic | Don't remember when I was there.. ![]() | |
| My buddy Jason and I did this one from the Three Corner Rock Trailhead sometime in late Spring. I don't even remember what year it was, other than that it was probably in 97-98. I couldn't imagine doing this one all the way from the Gorge! I suppose I should fess up and admit that I've also done this one via 4WD......... A tremendous view from this one. On a side note, my wife wanted to go into labor with our first child, so we took our truck up towards this place because of all the bumps. I ended up getting a flat!!!! And we had to wait another couple of days for the baby. So much for that idea.. | ||

| In order for this mountain to qualify as a bona fide "Gorge Peak" I thought it best to see if it could be done in a day from a Columbia River level trailhead. I took off from the Table Mt. trailhead on the north side of Greenleaf Slough and sure enough, it's do-able, but it makes for a loooong day! I logged about 25 miles and 6,500 vertical for the day. I took in Table Mt. on the way and lost some elevation when I missed a junction.) There's a handy spring just a half mile from the summit that proved useful, too. All-in-all, a beautiful route on an interesting peak. | ||
