I remember...this old latin sentence - tres faciunt collegium = 3 make community (our professor used to say that when very few people showed up for the lecture).... so perhaps 3 makes crowd....

Too late ...My "trigger" finger already voted.
When I was younger, three was always a crowd.
Nowadays, three doesn't seem to bother me as much.
Signs of getting older ???
