| i did this with my wife on 10/10/10. she's not a big hiker but she was able to conquer this pretty easily. maybe 5 miles round trip. the big plaque on top is pretty cool and the view is nice, albeit bee-filled. | |

| From Islip Saddle, I decided to hit the furthest peak on my list first and work my way back home tagging Hawkins, Middle Hawkins and Islip. Quite icy on lower trail sections then no need for crampons after Windy Gap. Enjoyable hike but the views suck thanks to poor air quality and burnt trees. | |
