| I was disappointed by this peak! Someone en route to Baldy mentioned that "Thunder kicked my butt!" so I had high expectations for a difficult climb up, and was extremely disappointed by the sight at the top (ski lift. oh weee), and zero view (surrounded by cloud and fog) and relatively easy hike up... I think my source probably came by way of Icehouse Saddle, instead of Baldy Saddle. | |

| From the ski parking lot, hiked underneath the lift to the Notch and then to Thunder. Then we continued on to do Telegraph and Timber and back down Ice House Canyon. I've also done Thunder as one of the 3 summits done during the Baldy Peaks 50K. | |

| CLimbed up the East slope. In combination with the west ridge of Telegraph it makes for a great quick and steep option when doing the 3T's. | |

| Beautiful morning hike of the Three T. Saw the sun rising on Baldy from near the saddle and the wind started to pick up from there. Great day! | |

| Went up the ski hut trail to Baldy, across the Devil's Backbone and over to Thunder before heading down the dirt road to Manker. Nice day up there. Rob McNair and I did this in the memory of our friend John Davis who passed away a week ago. John was the race director of the Baldy Peaks 50k for several years and the race tops out on both Baldy and Thunder during the event. Got involved in calling in coordinates to a rescue crew for a stranded hiker on the way down. Overall Thunder is not that tough unless you pair it with Baldy or the other two "T"s. | |

| A really great mountain bike peak or just a quick +8000ft peak in the los angeles area. the 3ts trail is a great route up and over telegraph peak and timber mountain. | |

| Part of my Three T's hike starting in Baldy village looping up and down icehouse canyon back to the village. Only bummer was not catching a ride back to the village. | |
