Perfect for the kids  Sucess!

Perfect for the kids. The flowers were out and the Sisters were magnificent.

Fun early climb  Sucess!

Since the Three Sisters were still snowed in, went up this peak to get views of them instead.

East Trail  Sucess!

Phenomenal views! It was a bit early for the wildflowers, but there were still a few along the trail, especially in the forest.

west side trail

beautiful day....snow wasn't too bad until trail went up the northside....followed tracks of another climber until had to make a traverse to west that was just too exposed without crampons/axe.

Twice

Fun hike, very scenic and lots of payoff for little toil.

Cool cloudy summer day  Sucess!

The clouds lifted a little and the Sisters showed their heads. Wife almost six months along-baby had fun judging from the wiggles. Breezy. Nice hike with friends.

Trail  Sucess!

Trail leads through some beautiful old growth forest. As we neared the top the clouds lowered, so no views. Still a cool looking summit area, especially in the clouds.

Route Climbed: Tidbits Mtn Trail (East)  Sucess!

Absolutely phenomenal views - could see from Hood to Shasta! Good hike, scramble to the top, though the road to the trailhead was a little spotty. Lots of exposure and a few recent washouts.

Route Climbed: Tidbits trail (east) Date Climbed: october 14, 2003  Sucess!

This was a pretty nice easy hike through some beautiful old growth forest. views were almost nonexistent from the top due to clouds. it didn't look like anyone had used the trail recently, so the solitude was pretty nice. lots of bright fall foliage on the drive on road 1509.
