This is torture, I can't believe I have to wait out the winter season to get down to the Sangre's! "rocketing out of the bowels of the earth." Just poking a bit of fun, your such an engaging, passionate writer-Your stuff is fun to read. See Ya.

Extraordinary. This is an invaluable resource for a peak I would have never heard of. This is now at the top of my list. Thanks.

I'm planning my second trip into the Sand Lakes area this summer and was pleased to see the revamped Tijeras Peak page. Nice job, especially with the geological info. I hope to climb Tijeras, Music Mountain and check out the views from Milwaukee Pass. Thanks for the inspiration.

Just back. Got it this time. Very fun scramble. Followed it with a hike to Milwaukee Pass. Great two day combo from Lower Sand Creek Lake.
