Father recovering gear lost in timp sliding wipeout.
My father thought that my six year old son would be scared to slide down the "glacier" and wanted to show us how to do it first. He ended up hitting a boulder, loosing the poncho he was sliding on, and rolling quite a way down the snow field. My son sat on my lap and we slid far past my father without incident, and with no fear on the part of my son. My father then had to hike a few hundred meters up the snow field to recover the equiptment he lost in his wipeout.
