Tirrell Pond and Tirrell Mt.

On the Northville-Placid Trail. Tirrell Pond is on the backside of Blue Mt., between Lake Durant State Campground and Long Lake, just south of the height-of-land of the entire 122+ mile trail. The lowland trail winds between the mountains, only achieving an altitude of 3000' once, crossing the ridge in the distance in this picture.
