Tobe Gap Route

Tobe Gap Route

Follow the fence-line as much as you can; the red line roughly shows its route until you reach the large meadow below The Arrowhead. From there, bushwhack lightly as you see fit up through the cliff band to the summit. - 30 Sep 2006 Update: The two cruxes of the route are actually blanked out by land-features in this photo. The first is the down-climb through very dense brush & cliffs (thankfully not at the same time) before reaching the saddle. The second (and in my opinion easier) crux is finding an access point through the cliffs surrounding the summit of The Arrowhead. Just search around for the easiest option and you might be able to keep this one at Class 3.

Davis Mountains' peak name...

In the southwest foreground portion of the image is a capped ridge that is 7,785 feet above sea-level. It is the highest peak in the outer bands of the Davis Mountains (outer peaks like Blue, Sawtooth, and Star Mountains).
Do you know the name of that mountain?
