My most interesting ascent – after snow had settled in September; now keep to the right, then left and finally up the couloir to the 945m summit. The funny thing about our little expedition was that I was the only member willing to go climbing; what's more, climbing was forbidden by the leaders so I had to pretend I kept to the valley floors.
