"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Nice peakI climbed following the normal route of NE ridge in a day with a few of clouds but without rain. It was a solo climb without people in the route in a thursday enjoying of the panorama of the peaks of the area, specially the nice views of the ridges of Llambrion and Tiro Llago. I found only two young goats (rebecos) running over the rocks and the mountain was only for me. I liked the route very much.
Note: according with my gps the height can be 2610m. In Peña Vieja (2613m) I took 2613m a few of years ago. The maps show Torre Blanca (2617m) as the higher peak of Cantabria but it's very difficult to know with a personal gps. We'll need a professional gps. I think the better option is climb both peaks to be sure,he,he.

Succesfully climbed over the normal routeA long day climb (going with a group of 7 clients) to reach the top of this mountain and come back to Fuente Dé, where we started the route. Blue sky, good temperature and no wind at all: perfect conditions for a very nice day. We followed the normal NE ridge (with traverse on the east slope).
