A reality check on Torre Grande Ovest.
This was only my second climb after a myocardial infarction in June 2018, and I found it surprisingly difficult. My poor condition was evident, but we were successful in spite of my weakness.

Fun and easy
Fun climb, totally alone on the route. Little rain, little snow, and then it all clear up. Lovely outing.

I thought this was a great, easy route with some really good views. The area as a whole was a fun alpine "craging area".

Via Della Guide - Magyar Vándor variáns
Altough we started in Via Della Guide we climbed out from it. So our route wasn't the same route we saw in the guidebook. But it was very nice. :-)

Torre Grande
I did an amazing winter acent with my guide and friend Paolo, from Cortina D'Ampezzo.Last 30 meters with verglas. Clear and windy day.The route was a little more difficult due the mountain rigid boots.Probably the first Brazilian winter acent in the Dolomites.
