Awesome climb
My 10th and 11th Fourteeners and Kieva's 4th Fourteener! Kieva and I hit the approach trail at 4:00 am and made it back to the trailhead at 11:15 am. We climbed Torreys Peak via the Kelso Ridge, a class 3 rock climb with a ton of exposure. We climbed some class 4 rock as well and had to cross a "Knife Edge" towards the end of the ridge, a section that you must carefully navigate because it was only inches wide. We summited Torreys Peak and then took an easy trail up neighboring 14er Grays Peak. An awesome climb.

Hike over from Gray's
Hike over after Grays on the standard route. Gray's was good, but Torrey's was very icy, though less windy. Great hike.

Kelso Ridge!
Climbed Kelso Ridge on the 4th of July - third time on this route and fifth on the mountain. It's a great route for sure, especially on a very popular mountain!

Tagged it after Grays Peak. Thunder started just after I left the summit around noon and I was back in my car two miles down the road from the trailhead at 210 pm. Fast but very fun ascent.
