Toti  Sucess!

Sleeping in tents near a laguna with a white sand beach. Cold night, light snow fall. Setting off at dawn in miserable overcast weather. Some rock scrambling (class III) prior to doning crampons and climbing in 30 cm deep snow. Reached the snowed in platform at the base of the final rocky outcropping. Didn't climb it but enjoyed a sip of whisky with my friends. It was good fun.

Buena aclimatacion  Sucess!

Realmente me parecio una buena montaña para aclimatar, antes la habia visto y pensaba que se necesitaba equipo para poder hacerla pero resulta que es un trepadero bien bonito por la ruta normal, con buena vista si el clima está despejado.

west scramble  Sucess!

This was the second and easiest of four peaks climbed with Gabriel during our trip. After moving up 1/2 our camp up to the pass preparing for our summits of Azucar and Pulpito, we cramponed over to and climbed up Toti. Clear again with beautiful views of Laguna de la Plaza to the east.
