Access for Scott Peak

 
The Scott Peak Trailhead with Point 11292 in the distance.

From Idaho Falls, ID, drive north on I-15 to Sage Junction (Exit 143).

Drive west through Terreton and Mud Lake

Just west of Mud Lake, you will encounter a junction, stay on 28 (right) towards Salmon, ID.

From the junction, continue on ID 28 for about 42.5 miles.

Turn right (north-northeast) onto Nicholia Road and continue for about 3 miles (toward the Nicholia Mine).

Turn right (southeast) onto Road 300 and continue for about 4.5 miles.

Turn left (east-northeast)up Scott Canyon (FR 190) and drive to where the road is blocked with a gate.

There is plenty of room to park.

A high-clearance vehicle is recommended for traveling these roads.
