Getting There

Buck Creek Trailhead - Located approximately 19 miles southeast of Union, OR Follow State Highway #203 from Union 11.5 miles and turn left on to Forest Road #7785, travel approximately 3 miles. Turn right onto Forest Road #7787 which leads to the Buck Creek Trailhead in 3.5 miles.

The Trailhead is accessible mid-June to October, depending on snow conditions. The Trailhead can be reached by passenger car, but Forest Road #7787 can have large rocks that may have to be rolled out of the way for low clearance vehicles.

There is heavy horse traffic in and out of this Trailhead. Also this area sees a lot of hunters in the fall, so plan your trip accordingly.
