The blue skies in the Karakoram are unbelievable in your photos-I can't even imagine how beautiful the sky must look there in person.

Here is magnificence and memory to enchant all who witness it, the distant cascading roar of rivers in floods heard against the melody of a wistful, whispering breeze eddying through a flower filled highland meadows, the groaning, creaking agony of a glacier in motion heralding the first sight of that purest mountain, the thrusting pyramid of K-2 as it breaks through its girdle of clouds to float disembodied, a marvelous phantom in the incredible blue of an early morning.
