"TRANQUILITY BASE"

Lake Cammeron,which is mainly in Waterton Lakes National Park, but partly in Glacier NP, Montana, is the backdrop for this idyllic scene. This lake can be accessed by road and has a number of great trailheads. It is also very peaceful, once you getaway from the parking area. this image was taken in July, 2008 with a Nikon D80.

Nice picture...

...of Mount Custer. I've always loved this view, and Custer (as well as neighboring Forum Peak) is definitely on my "to-do" list for the near future! Thanks for posting this, and your other shots of GNP.

(FYI--typo in the description: "Cammeron" should be "Cameron," and not that it's terribly important, but in this case it's actually "Cameron Lake," rather than having the two words reversed.)
