Route Climbed: Traverse SSE-WNW
A splendid route! It's got a bit of everything: steepish snow; rock ridge; airy snow arete then a descent through some exquisite glacial terrain. NOTE - the right hand ascent to the Almagellerhutte is closed at the moment, so go up on the left side of the river.

Leading an alpine club youth group (JDAV).
Coming from Almageller Hut, descent to Weissmies Hut. The SSE ridge is a great climb, not that long. Easy descent via WNW flank, though often tricky crevasses.
