Kane,

Thank you very much for your vote and compliments on the Treasury Mountain page. I realy liked Treasury, esteeming it nearly as highly as Half Peak in my pantheon of favorite mountains. If you ever want to go to the Schofield Pass area I am eager to get up Purple Mountain and Treasure Mountain in the future. It realy is a lovely area. Anyway I just got back from Washington so I my weekends in the near future are all free... please let me know if you want to get together to head back to the Gores.

Jon, sorry I couldn't get to you in time for a monday climb. I just got home yesterday from Carbondale for three nights and have to work through Weds. I do have Thurs and Fri off and am looking to get back into the Gores, weather permitting. I had some tough weather while out there but still managed to climb Sievers Mountain and Buckskin Benchmark. Both of these mountains are outright gorgeous. Buckskin would qualify as my favorite hike ever, and that's saying a lot. Wait till you see some of my photos, they are my best ever.

Fine Mtn. page. Did you notice the similarity between the view of the summit ridge with Sopris and the top of 1/2 Peak? This was the first thing I noticed about the mountain.

Can you put a negative sign in front on the longitude to improve the distance function?
