Trinchera welcoming committee
The chances of seeing and getting rather close to bighorn sheep on the slopes of Trinchera and other summits in the northern Culebra Range are good. This image was made using a 35mm (film) camera (Olympus OM-1) with a 35-70 lens. Even with only 70mm magnification the close proximity to the sheep allowed me to fill the frame with interest, in this case sheep and mountain summit. 9-10-07
