Little Caribou Lake from north of the Old Caribou Trail. Packers Peak is seen on the north side of the Salmon River Canyon. The peaks of the Russian Wilderness line the horizon just above Packers Peak. Deadman Peak, one of the northernmost peaks in the Trinity Alps, is on the right. July2009.
