We camped Sat. night at Colchuck Lake. Got up early Sun. morning and hiked to Aasguard Pass. We followed a bootpacked trail up the Snow Creek Glacier to the saddle. From the saddle it's an easy hike to the summit. The summit exposure down to Colchuck Lake is spectacular. The Snow Creek Glacier is steeper than reported in some guidebooks.
An iceaxe is mandatory, crampons would be nice for some of the harder icy patches.
