On the day 25.05.2002. me and my friend Slobo the lazy fickin' bastard were heading from Rijeka to the starting point of our new gold - Jalovec.
24.05.2002.
23:50h- We were heading to hut named Koca Pri Izviru Soče, but first we must pass Ljubljana, over Kranj, Then Jesenice, finally after 200 kilometers in Kranjska Gora we turned to the left up to the mountains for Vršić pass. that is 12 kilometres of hard twisty
driving up to the 1611m, and then descent to almost 850m to the Koča Pri Izviru Soče.
We get there in 3:00h in the morning, and we decided to get some rest in the car to 6:00h or 7:00h
25.05.2002.
When we woke up, the weather was not good for climb :( so we said both we are not giong anywhere up today, and we were spend all day in the area of Izvir Soče. At the end of the day weather was better, and some people we asked that if will weather tommorrow be fine. They Say: Yes!
26.06.2002.
We were get up in 5:30h. The weather was good and we start our climb in 6:00h. We reach the summit in 9:00h. It was wery fast ascent, but we could even better.
It was a great view on Mangat, Skrlatica and Triglav. Only the view is worth of our effort.
Jalovec is now all under our feet.
