Hiked in after dark the night before only to find that all the lean-to's were taken! This turned out to be the first 'warmer' weekend in a long while and that drew a lot of people. Finally found one however it was a lot farther and the approach was going to be too long for a summit bid early in the morning.
So decided to return in September and go for it then.

The hike out was just beautiful. Deep snow, frozen lake, a winter wonderland!!
