We made a couple of attempts on this one that were thwarted by weather at the Keyhole while staying at a dude ranch called Aspen Lodge. My interest in the dude ranch was that it was directly in front of the mountain. Quite a long walk up to the Keyhole.
The traverse was kind of fun and I remembered that during the year we had a board member who compared us unfavorably to pigs at the trough.
As I wandered up Long's Trough, I reflected on this poor worm of a person thousands of feet below and found irony in my enjoyable hike up Long's Trough. The narrows added a bit of spice and the the homestretch was easy enuf and then the top. A fun day's hike.
